Dana Energy Group believes that access to the country's vast oil and gas resources and ensuring that Iran, as one of the main owners of oil and gas fields, is one of the active players in the global energy market; It should not lead to the loss of the position of innovation in the decisions of the country's energy sector. Ignoring this will reduce productivity in this industry compared to international models.
The Oil Industry Research and Innovation Fund was established in 1399 as a special joint stock company with the cooperation of the elders of the country's oil industry and started its activities:
- Venture capital in companies with the subject of technological activity
- Participation and investment in creating, developing, leading and empowering innovation and acceleration centers and knowledge-based companies in the oil industry
- Providing services and financial facilities to the owners of new ideas in the oil industry
- Providing evaluation and feasibility services for business plans, monitoring and evaluation of research projects
- Provide market development and commercialization services to start-ups in the oil industry
- Creation, development and operation of financing instruments such as venture capital funds
- Management of financial resources of governmental and non-governmental legal entities in the field of technology research, innovation and knowledge base
Dana Investment Company, on behalf of Dana Energy Group and the investment arm of this group, by financing this fund and owning 4.85% of the shares of the Oil Industry Research and Innovation Fund, is trying to cooperate with government institutions such as the National Iranian Oil Company. , "National Iranian Gas Company", "National Company for Refining and Distribution of Petroleum Products", "National Iranian Petrochemical Company" and other government institutions and of course private sector companies, fulfill their mission to improve the level of knowledge and technology in the country's oil industry.
